Stuart Fraser - Pastor

As a pastor my greatest commitment is to seeing people grow in Christ-likeness, through the careful teaching of the Bible (Col 1:28). I currently serve as the pastor/teacher of First Baptist Church of Auburn. I am simply an average person, who has been called by God to the unique and thrilling privilege of teaching and leading His people. Together with our Elders I help to direct a staff of committed leaders whose desire is to, “Equip God’s Family to Share the Hope of Jesus.” This is our church’s mission statement, and also my personal goal. I have been married to my beautiful wife Melanie since 1999 and together we have three wonderful children – Alayna, Savannah, and Luke. Our family is one of the greatest sources of joy in my life, beyond my walk with Jesus Christ. If I wasn’t employed at a church full-time doing ministry, I would still be fully invested in a church somewhere because I am so strongly drawn to serving and loving God’s people; I don’t think I would be able to stay away. Thankfully, God has blessed me with the great privilege of being paid to serve those I am so passionately drawn to – His people. It is such an honor to be used by God to bring spiritual change to the lives of His children, and to share the life changing message of the Gospel with a lost world! My hope is that you would be convinced of this truth too and find a place to serve God beside us at First Baptist Church of Auburn.

Jason Camacho - Youth Director

When my family and I left FBC Auburn in 2009, I would’ve never imagined that God would have me back here, especially as the Youth Director. It is only by God’s incredible grace, that I am where I am today, and He continues to prove Himself faithful. My amazing wife, Gabriell, and I never could’ve predicted or imagined the incredible plans God had in store for the youth ministry. Every Wednesday we have The Furnace (our High School & Junior High ministry), and I have the honor of seeing students encounter God’s transformational power, experience His love, and respond to His call. I’m constantly in awe of how I get to play some kind of part in the salvation process of these kids, because in my opinion, I am unqualified. This is the beauty of God’s grace. He doesn’t call people that are qualified, He qualifies people that respond to His calling. His strength overcomes my weakness and enables me to do things beyond my own capabilities (2 Cor. 12:9). Lost kids are coming to Jesus, hope is being restored, and families are ultimately being transformed because God is moving through The Furnace Ministry. I have the honor of experiencing this every single week. My prayer and hope is simply that every student that comes to The Furnace would ultimately give their lives to Jesus and grow in friendship with Him for the rest of their lives. The crazy thing is that The Furnace somehow plays a small part in the greater plan God has for the entire church here at FBC, and ultimately, His grand plan for humanity. That revelation makes it all the more incredible to say I have the privilege of being the Youth Director at FBC Auburn.
